Master the fine Art of Traditional Karate-do with us!

Our dojo is a proud member of Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF) preserving the legacy and technical excellence of Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa.
Our Chief Instructor, Dr. Nataliya Pidkovka, is a biomedical scientist, college professor, and experienced martial arts instructor with extensive teaching experience. Sensei Nataliya began practicing Karate in Ukraine in 1993 and earned her black belt degrees under the certification of Sensei Hirokazu Kanazawa (SKIF), Sensei Teruyuki Okazaki (ISKF), and the examination panel of Hombu Dojo Karate International (HDKI).
During the 2000s, she founded the Karate Club at Lviv National Medical University in Ukraine and, after moving to the United States, established Nashville Shotokan Karate Club in 2018. Throughout her training and coaching career, Sensei Nataliya and her students have successfully competed at national and international levels while remaining committed to the principles and traditions of authentic Shotokan Karate.
